Lori's Movin and Groovin is an  INTERACTIVE MUSIC AND MOVEMENT EXPERIENCE, which is designed specifically for the  SENIOR population. Each song uses simple but formulated  movements from the chair to help maintain or improve daily function.

 The Lori's Movin and Groovin program can be either an INSTRUCTOR-BASED MOVEMENT CLASS or an ENTERTAINMENT EVENT which combines singing and specialized movements by one of our qualified geriatric  movement professionals.

WHILE WE SING, WE INCLUDE IMPORTANT CONCEPTS

• Encouraging simple seated movements designed to maintain and improve daily function 
• Working of all the major muscle groups and primary joints through their full range of motion in a safe way.
• Implementing specific exercises to improve balance and core stability.
• Adding memory associations 
• Creating motivation for seniors to participate in other geriatric activities 
• Engaging each  PERSON that is within our midst to enjoy moments of joy and fellowship
