I am a registered Yoga teacher with a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification and 4 1/2 years teaching experience. I’m currently a Movin and Groovin master instructor! I feel honored to hold this title because I love people!
Lately I’ve been drawn to serving special populations, including frail seniors, and those living with various types of dementia. I also teach people with multiple sclerosis, and people in treatment for substance abuse issues. Autistic children benefit from my classes as well.
I feel these special populations need extra attention and care. I also teach cat yoga at a local cat shelter, promoting kitten and cat adoption.
Before teaching I was a hairstylist for 24 years. The salon industry taught me how to interact with all types of personalities and how to listen to the customer.
I hope to continue learning and growing so I can offer my students more variety and keep them interested and engaged.
