Katy has created a traveling drum circle!

Katy has been helping seniors for over 10 years as a caregiver to her family and as a service professional. She LOVES making others smile and she is FEARLESS in delivering her programs to the fullest! Residents love her unique energy and quirky personality. She brings with her a wagon full of percussive instruments that are meant to stimulate the senses while creating excitement through movement. Drumming stimulates the production of endorphins in the brain, which helps to reduce stress and improve mood. "Snarepy" is her name for it. Simply put, Katy creates energy in her programs!
Katy studied complementary medicine at Everglades university and is currently working on obtaining a certification as a certified dementia practitioner. We are happy to add her as a master movement specialist!
